Course Description:
This course introduces the fundamental principles and techniques of microscopy used in biological and laboratory sciences. Students will learn how microscopes work, the different types of microscopes, and how they are used to observe microorganisms, cells, and tissues. The course also covers microscope parts, sample preparation, staining techniques, and proper handling and maintenance of microscopes.
Through demonstrations and practical examples, learners will develop the skills needed to observe and analyze microscopic structures accurately. This course provides a strong foundation for students pursuing studies in microbiology, parasitology, medical laboratory science, and other biological fields.
